It felt more like a resort though it most definitely was an assisted living home. There were gardens, a yard, parties for holidays and we were pleased with the place in general. It was lunch time when we arrived and it seemed to be very much in order with two nursing attendants at every table to watch the residents as they ate. One of my favorite features, that the residents seem to love, is an aviary in the lobby of the facility. The facility also has a few cats for the residents. This could be a problem for people who have allergies to cats like myself but I prepare and appropriate allergy medication before hand. There was a faint smell of urine throughout the facility, however, none of the resident seemed to be distressed as if they were sitting in urine for a large amount of time.

They did not check him, not once for UTI, so I filed a complaint with the State.
